Spent the day on Tims Ford with the family! (with photos)

We were on the water by noon... no rush... just a relaxing afternoon before it gets too cold... summer's almost over!
Our two year old fearless daughter decided to jump out the front gate to the dock while we were getting ready... the boat was tied off on the left side... the dock cleats are set rearward a touch which leaves about an 18" gap between the front of the boat and the dock... we put their life jackets on first thing... so she already had it on... I'm at the helm hooking up the GPS whem my wife screams "SHE'S IN THE WATER!"... I rush to the front... jump to the dock.... spin around... look down... don't see her! No sign of her in the water! Where could she be!... I can hear her.... I look to see if she went under the dock and there she is... hanging on the dock bumper with both hands! HA HA... WHEW! She only got wet to the bottom of her life jacket... I pulled her up... looked her over... not a scratch... if she wouldn't have grabbed the rubber bumper strip she might have hit her face on the metal framework of the dock! Not good... kills me to think about it... she's Daddy's little girl!!! from now on the gates will be closed behind us!
Spent most of the time cruising and enjoying the scenery... logged a couple neat spots on the GPS...

I have been running the boat at WOT pretty much all summer long... had to use both hands to pull back on the throttle
to my surprise it runs 21 mph @ 4800... not too bad considering it only runs 25 - 26 mph @ WOT approx. 5400 with me, wife, all three kids... fishin gear... 3 person towable... trolling motor... extra battery (up front)... loaded cooler... etc.
At about 4600 it's moving fast enough to throw the spray out and back far enough to quieten things way down... and 4800 gives a little extra speed.... so far 4800 seems to be the sweetest cruising speed...
Cruised all over the place looking at the really cool houses and interesting dock configurations... several docks have trolley systems up to the houses... Tims is loaded with beautiful homes...
Had lunch... that's one of my favorite things too... something about having a picnic on the boat that's just too much fun...
We fished a little.... I forgot to load the trolling motor foot pedal... oops! A little tough to fish without the trolling motor...
Got the raft out and played on it for an hour or so...
Pulled into a cove and went swimming for a few... headed in... loaded up... and drove the back way home with the windows down... beautiful evening... nice warm fragrant air cruising through the woods...
What a wonderful, amazing Country we live in! God truly has blessed America... it's a shame America has turned her back on Him...
Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

That's Aidan (5) and Anna (2) sitting on the changing room top...

Anna found a cozy spot to sleep on the way back to the dock
