Much Much Much Better!
Recap our first boating experience... launched the boat for the first time... engine died, won't start... fought to get it back on the trailer... took it to the dealer to repair...
The boat center called me up... got it running... bushing in the fuel pump went bad...
I had just pulled into the driveway from work... they close at 5:00 and I was pretty sure I could make it... I asked if they would wait... they did...
Called my wife and Dad told them to meet me at the lake...
Get there... hook up the trailer.... pay the bill... head to the ramp... Wife, kids and Dad get there just as I get it backed in... lower the motor into the water... fire it up... runs like new! Here's a few pics

Me... first time ever at the helm!

My wife Dana son Aidan my Dad and daughter Anna

My Beautiful wife with our newest daughter Deborah

First time on the raft with the kids... different day

Before you tow that tube.... add a lot of air... you want it very firm, or it will be a terrible tow, terrible ride, and may even submarine...

You've been spying on us! I have been gettin the feeling someone has been watching us for awhile now... Seriously that is exactly what it does.... you described it to a T. This last trip out I tried to get as much air in it as the pump would put out... it made a huge difference... this winter Lord willing I'll have a ski tow bar on it which should help as well... I've seen the power ball setup and I'm sure that would help... but I've kinda got my heart set on a tow bar... plus, we want to try skiing....
I called Sun Tracker and they want $640.00 for theirs... Ouch! My little boat is tricky... it doesn't have a place on the deck to mount anything. .. has to be mounted under the boat...

I've got the tow bar on my '11 Fishin' Barge and it is very sturdy the way it is mounted underneath. The L brackets are very stiff and we've pulled tubes and a kneeboard without any trouble. It's out of the way and you'll be happy with it. And if it ever does have any trouble, it's approved by Tracker, so one less headache with warranty work.

Thanks... ever try to ski behind your boat? Is it fast enough?

Never tried to ski behind it yet, but we had planned to get a wakeboard this summer and try that out. But I ended up tearing my shoulder up and had to have surgery, so never got to the wakeboard. It will pull me on the kneeboard pretty good, so I'm guessing a light skier should be okay.
