Like a lot of pontoons out there, the entire back of my pontoon is closed in and I can't reach the cleats to tie up an anchor. How do you normally deploy and tie up the rear anchor. Ideas please.

On my '06 PC, I added 2 cleats at the top rail in the stern sleeper area. No way I could reach the factory cleats either. I have pics somewhere...

I always anchor off the bow because the barge rides better that way.

The island that I go to requires an anchor at both bow and stern because it's so crowded .

You could always use a shallow water stick anchor. and there are less expensive manual ones other than the power poles and talons. You attach a bracket to the deck and slide an 8 or 10 foot spike through it to the bottom and your boat will not move laterally.
This is one brand.
