hi guys,
I found a 2004 Crest 25' Family Fisherman
Low hrs (29) and is supposed to be in real good condition.
115hp Yamaha 4-stroke
Has a full playpen cover and a tandem axle trailer.
Asking 18,900
It is on consignment at a boat dealer.

Your opinions would be appreciated.
thanks,
Paul

Sounds kinda high for a 2004. With economy and boats being so depressed You could almost buy new for that.

Welcome

I sold my 2005 Crest 22' Super Fisherman with 135 Honda (122 hrs) and single axle trailer for $20,500 in August. I would offer 16,000 and see what happens. The Family Fish 25' is a great boat.

What kind of Yamaha motor? Be careful there are some yamaha's out there that gernade for no good reason. If it was a Mercury I'd say go for it at 18k.

beermunk are you kidding? Yamaha is always rated near the top as far as reliablity is concerned. I've had mine 5 trouble free years so far.

yellowdog46 I would be concerned if those were the actual hrs. 29 hrs. on a 5 year old boat seems kind of odd. Like the others have said that seems a bit high. It's a buyers market. If you like the boat I would throw them a lowball price and go fron there.

Yeah I've never heard of anyone having problems with Yamaha motors. Price seems high as others have said.
