Pontoon Boat & Deck Boat Forum

I need a marine starting battery and two deep-cycle batteries in the spring. I run a 90 hp Mercury 4 cycle 2008 motor.
Any advice for a acid based maintenance free batteries for trolling and starting? Also, how much MCA should I buy for starting and reserve for trolling? Thanks in advance.

I am sure you will be recommended ever one made, I have had good luck with the ones from advance.

In my pontoon , I use regular flooded lead acid but in my Wellcraft cuddy I use AGM batteries. I use the Sears Diehard Platinum which are re-badged Odyssey but much cheaper.
