!st Mate uses Majic Eraser on the seats and Awsome cleaner on stains. Both clean amazingly well I didn't realize how dirty my exterior side panels were until I cleaned them with Awesome. Just a quick spray of Awsome and a light scrub with a sponge or a ME, then rinse. They looked like new.

In answer to your question, i doubt that Magic Eraser would do anything on your tubes. A ME is a real soft, dense sponge with no abrasisve properties. You'll need something much stronger and may need an abrasive or an acid based cleaner, depending on what it is you are trying to remove.

You can buy MEs and Awesome really cheap at the dollar stores. A quart of Awesome is only a buck. Avoid using any clorine based cleaners on stitched seams.

I agree that you'll need something designed to clean aluminum--acid based product. Then, a polish is preferred to bring back the shine that the aluminum cleaner dulled.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is great for your seats and fencing, but don't use it every week. Magic Eraser does have micro polishing elements, and if you use it long enough, the paint finish will suffer. I use it on my vinyl seats 1x per year.

Awesome is another great cleaner, as it cleans great and is very cheap at Dollar General. It also has a polish in it that works against the paint. I've been Awesome the last 15 years on my aluminum sided travel trailer to get rid of black streaks, and I've got to repaint the trailer this year so I can sell it.
