To any of you Manitou VP Tritoon owners -- with the 27" center toon and two 23" outer toons, the center toon sits about five inches deeper than the outers. Will I experience any problem beaching the boat?

It depends on the bottom of the lake. Mud bottom, okay. Rock bottom, probably not. Sand bottom, ?

Nope, I never did on mine. It pulled off fine. The best way is to saw the steering left to right when backing off to help move the sand or mud away. My old Manny SHP was easier to pull off a beach than my Premier PTX is. You'll get used to it real quick.
You'll love the VP hull. Its the original SHP hull. They added the reinforced Barracuda nose cones in 2008.

Thanks all.
Our use is pretty much 100% tidal saltwater and sand beaches. One thing we have to watch is beaching at high tide and not paying attention as the tide goes out. It happens to everyone eventually. Usually the beaches are loaded with other pontoons and a group will gather to help shove any stranded boat off the sand.

we beach ours almost every time we go out, we beach on the banks which are sand and silt,no problems with the boat leaning, sometimes it will lean a tad,not enough to even notice and we easily un-beach.

Get power assisted steering if possible, we have it an are very glad we opted for it, makes steering a dream with water sports and such.
