Love the Delta, been there many times while owning jet skis. We always stayed at the Orwood Resort camping. Have to go up there with the new toon I got late last year. The Delta is a boaters paradise!
How far offshore are you going out for the Salmon?

I've launched at Rio Vista and cruised up the Old Sac River up to Old Town Sac. Lunched at Joe's Crab Shack, walked around Old Town then cruised back. Nice beautiful ride. My grandkids loved it and planning to do it again soon.
BTW, planning to berth the Toon in Oxbow Marina next month for the summer.

The river flows are way down right now, you just need to be aware and that's why I opted for more power. Having rented a toon with a 20hp ENGINE, That's a bit uncomfortable with the current and the breeze pushing you into a levee
