You'll see that truck at the local car auction week after next. They've got to first change all the fluids and recharge the battery.

I was thinking that red truck was gonna slip in, and then that white one surfaced...whoa!
What a HUGE launch ramp there.

Cleatus, you are right about the ramp. We use that one several times each summer and it is really nice and accommodates a LOT of boats. It's about 35 minutes from our home. So far we have not had the misfortune they had, though! If you spend enough time launching and retrieving boats, you do see some very entertaining things. At some point you will inevitably find yourself providing the entertainment, but hopefully not on that level.

This very same thing almost happened to me last year. My wife was pulling the truck and trailer off the ramp, and there was a very loud truck idling next to her. She thought the truck was running and it wasn't. She put it in gear and back she went. The back tires were half way in the water before she figured it out. Pretty scary!

Several years ago my sister and bil were coming back to the launch and this fellow was standing in the water of the boat ramp, my bil asked if he needed some help and he said yea I am standing in the bed of my truck. Bad thing was the guy said this was his 2nd time to launch the truck. You can't be too careful.

I've been tempted to get a lawn chair and 10 pieces of cardboard numbered 1-10 and sit at the Marina Ramp and 'Rate' the performances.
Kinda figured someone might take offense and

me.
