Pontoon boat seat covers

#1 Post by dragonx » Mon Mar 23, 2015 3:11 pm

I am surprised that I can not find a seat cover to put over my furniture on the boat. It would seem to me that a cover would be a big seller as seats have a tendency to wear in the sun and water. It might also be that I haven't looked in the right places. My seats are in good shape and would love to use them for a couple of more years. Thanks in advance for information.

Thanks, saw the storage covers, I was looking for something like a couch cover that could be put on seats and then sat on, like a car seat cover.......................... I wonder if they make a seat cover that I could use on the boat when I'm out? will have to check that out never thought along that line.

So you are saying your cushion vinyl needs to be redone. It's not that expensive to have that done. How is your boat protected right now when you aren't using it?

Keep a tarp over the entire boat at this point only have had it for 6 months, Seats are in good shape, a couple of tears ( owner told me they had left bait aboard one night and woke up the next morning to find twenty plus vultures on back seat) so I want to put a cover over the seats when in use, like a car seat cover.

Get rid of the tarp and get a good cover to keep the upholstery from deteriorating even more. More boats have been ruined from those blue tarps than anything.

Just bring the cushions to an upholstery shop and have them match the color and replace the vinyl.

We made our own covers out of terrycloth.
