I need to install an hour meter to track for maintenance. Just curious if those will work?

Also, do some of you use the steering wheel spinner knob for ease of control in tight spaces while docking. Saw one on a boat last weekend and it seemed easy to turn the wheel from one end to the other.

Those hour meters can be mounted anywhere, depending on the length of the feed wire though. You could prolly mount it inside the cowl on the engine somewhere, don't know if they'll hold up to the heat, but they are sealed units.

and the wheel spinners work great, a bud of mine has a pic of a pin-up bikini girl embedded in his.

I just use my Rinda at the end of the season by scanning my motor! I know, a little expensive!

I would just use an hour meter the connects to your ignition at your dash.

With the Merc 150 you might want to go with the Smartcraft set up. An hour meter will be put into the ignition switch circuit, which will run the meter whenever the key's on. The Smartcraft will pull the hours off of the engine computer and give a score of other useful info.
