Pricing Ideas & question

I finally purchased a new Yamaha 115 yesterday and will be having it installed this coming week. I currently have a 2 stroke 90hp Force motor on the toon and will be looking to sale it. What kind of price should I be looking to get out of it? It will have all cables with it. Also put a new starter on it about a year and half ago. I have never sold a motor before so not sure what to be asking.

I was wondering if there is an aftermarket tow/ski bar that can be installed on pontoons. I have a bennington 25ft and am pretty sure we will be doing more tubing since I have the new motor. Instead of hooking the cables to the toons I thought I would see if a tow/ski bar was available.
All thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

We seldom see any Force motors on pontoon boats, and they're getting pretty old--aging. They're very old generation, low tech motors and were not very popular.

I have no idea what one would pull on the used motor market.

I would suggest you talk to the dealer you're buying your new motor from and get his opinion. Then check with another dealer or two in person and see what they say.

Craigslist would be a good place to list the motor.

I would offer someone $50.00 to take it.
