VHF radio mount.

Well, we finally went and picked up the boat from storage today! Now I've got a ton of stuff to do to get her ready to go. Starting first with installing the VHF radio. My mounting options are limited so does anybody have any ideas on where to mount it? Where did you mount yours? Please let me know and pics are appreciated!

Sorry I don't have any pics but I mounted mine about knee height on the right side of my console. I have a 3' whip antennae from Shakespeare with a swing mount u-bolted to the frame of my Bimini top. Our group of tooners all have vhf radios.

Mine is next to my chair on the right sidewall. Antenna on the top framework. see pics. Works good

thanks, not sure I have room for the radio there. I have the cup holder right under the throttle.

is your mount screwed into the center cross tube between the two colored panels?
