I had to cancel my project to upgrade the 26ft benny to a tritoon, with a 3/4 add on express tube. Instead there is a home remodel project, complete with new furniture this year. However, I see more and more folks on here that have the 3/4 express tube. With a Honda 35hp outboard, I just wonder if my boat will sit up much higher at the bow. I also wonder how much speed I would gain...she runs about 25 mph now, tops. Maybe next year I will be able to add one, so I continue to look for similar setups and feedback on performance, just in case.

I don't know but I can tell you for a fact that with a 35hp outboard you are doing about all you are going to do short of rocket propulsion.! 25 MPH MY old twin tube beachcomber would only do 22 with a 70 Suzuki.

She's going to slow down with the third tube. More weight and more water resistance.

The whole deal about the Express Tube running nose high and low in the rear may be a little inaccurate. The Express Tube just sits a little lower in the back when at rest. And as far as I can tell, the Express Tube runs the same on top end as the SPS. It's the elliptical twin toons that are slightly faster in a straight line--but they don't corner quite as well as tritoons.

The speed and efficiency comes from having lifting strakes that get the nosecones out of the water.

We don't see too many Hondas on pontoons/tritoons to get cruising speeds from. But I would think your motor would be good for 35 mph+ with the Express Tube.
