Brand new to this board. Have not closed the deal yet but very close and have a few questions.
I am not new to boats, just downsizing and have some questions about deck boats, never owned one.
I am SUPER excited to be getting a single axil trailer :bier

1 Keeping cushons mold free and clean, I know air is good but are there some products out there that work well to help? I plan on storing outside with a full Sunbrella cover with an electric fan on timer to move air around.
2 Mine will be used almost exclusively in salt water which all of my boats have been but any extra tips on cleaning deck boats would be much appreciated.

If there are any 203 owners out there I would love to know where you put fishing rod racks or any other special tips you may have for me. thanks

Thanks and I am sure I will have some more questions.

It looks like a nice deck boat. I have had a deck boat and it was pretty rough on a windy day. We bought a pontoon and best decision we made. Way more room to walk around on and you don't have the separation you do on a Deck Boat. Good luck and enjoy your time on the water!

I have had different boats and have had deck boat which I traded a pontoon for. Worst mistake I ever made. The deck boat is nice because it ride the water like a regular boat and doesn't plow through like a pontoon. But when it comes to waves and ride the pontoon is much better. Also when it comes to room. Lots more on the pontoon then I had on the deck boat. But you are paying for it so need to get what you want. Just my two cents worth.

I think he may be on the wrong website. This is the pontoon/tritoon website.

We have seen some pontoon/tritooners switch to deckboats only to come back to tritoons. They're really a flat bottom or tri hull boat with the seating on top of the hull. And they do ride a little rough.

Yep.
This site does include all. There are just very few deck boat owners on this site.

To help the OP. Welcome. :biggrin2
I don't see much difference in keeping a deck boat clean and saltwater ready that I do in a regular bowrider. You don't have to deal with metal problems or sacrificial metals for that matter, but you should still keep the fiberglass hull polished up and free of growth for maximum performance. There are a few saltwater guys around here that should be able to help you out further than I can though.
