Removing Hard Water Spots from Aluminum trim on Toon ???

I guess our fresh water lake has very hard water..... have all the aluminum trim pieces with heavy water spots. What are you folks using to remove the water spots on the aluminum trim? I'm NOT even talking about the toons themselves. That topic is well covered. The trim pieces that hold down the vinyl floor to the edge, as well as some of our "fencing" down low is really covered. I have detail spray that I use on the painted surfaces and it works great, but the edge aluminum trim and fencing is showing heavy water spots....... almost looks like when I had boats in salt water.

Any suggestions???

Thanks in advance !

Believe it or not, I use WD 40 and .0000 steel wool. Works like a charm. You can also use a medium scotch bride ( pink ones) . WD40 will clean and polish an endless array of things. I have used it to take off spider shit marks as well. It certainly won't hurt anything.

I've used WD-40 and also Meguairs Cleaner Wax. The wax seems to keep new spots from forming each time out.
