Full throttle down but it moves like a turtle.

Hey Guys,

1987 50HP Johnson

Got the motor going and ran good but would just not go fast even with the throttle all the way down. I know there are multiple possible remedies but if anyone has seen something similar to this, any advice would be helpful. Thanks!!!

What RPMs do you see at wide open throttle?

3000 maybe a tad more I believe.

You have either a bad coil, spark plug or the fuel isn't getting there. Just my experience.
