Does anyone know what type of trolling motor plug is on a sun tracker bass buggy? I bought a Minn Kota V2 but it only came with positive and negative wires, not the plug that Basspro's service department seems to think it should have came with. So I need to order an adapter, and I want to make sure I get the right one.

yeah thats kind of the problem Jim.. lol

So, heres what I've encountered so far at Basspro..

1. Their service dept told me when I picked up the boat that the plug on the end of a V2 powerdrive would fit the plug at the front of my toon. The reality was the V2 didnt even come with a plug.

2. The Tracker sales guy noticed I had a Minn Kota quick release bracket in my cart yesterday when I was buying the motor that it was to be mounted on. He told me it already came with one, and I didn't need one. He was proud of saving me the 80 bucks or whatever it would have cost. He was wrong, as I had thougt. It does not come with a quick release bracket.

3. I told the guy who was writing up the ticket for my motor that I wanted the wireless co-pilot. He proceeded to make sure I had the right one. The one he handed me is for the older motors with the flat foot control plug.

I'm batting .000 here with BPS, so I wanted to ask here in case there are others with a similar rig.

FWIW-my 22' signature fishn barge came with a plug. I didn't get the fishing package, but the plug was inside the trolling motor battery storage area.

Not sure if you bought yours new, but if you did-I would think that it should have been included.
