I saw that, the few times I have been out to lake of the ozarks I have seen way more law breaking than anywhere else I have been....so I think Missouri will make some money on tickets this weekend.
I managed to make it down to Bull Shoals for 24 hours, lake is about 20 feet over normal and so much debris is in the lake there is very little to do beyond some swimming. Hopefully it will be cleared up by the time we do our family vacation at the end of the month.

I hope there is not a bunch of debris in the water. We head down there the 4th for 2 weeks. LOTO is not flood control so I would think less debris than on other lakes. Planning on a cruise to watch fireworks. Hope that is still on.

Fireworks on Table Rock Lake Friday night at Eagle Rock and Saturday night at Shell Knob. Lake is about a foot above normal. Dam releasing 13,000 cfs into Taneycomo and on into Bull Shoals the past week 24/7.
Lots of debris in water. Be safe all.

LOZ should be good if the can release some water. I saw a bunch of pics of dock walkways underwater.... if the normal traffic wakes would hit those they would be ripped apart.
Truman is full of debris.... main reason we stayed home. at least we have the pool....

I had water over my seawall and the end of my dock ramp is still underwater. Needless to say, I had to cut the power to the dock, so boating is out for this weekend.
Before they put the idle speed restrictions, there were cruisers and wake/ski boats plowing around like it was just another day. There are a lot of damaged ramps from the wakes either pushing off the concrete ramp tiles or ripping off wood decking.
As to debris, if one sticks to the main channel, it should be good. The Niangua arm is a chocolate log pond in spots. Eventually, it will make it to the main channel but will eventually disperse. In a couple of weeks, it will make boating after dark really interesting.
I must say it was very interesting seeing boats going by at idle sped and nary a wave coming in.

Went to the dam today and looked over side at flood gatess releasing full bore, pretty awesome sight. Once in a while you would see a fish shoot out with the water.
When going over the hwy 54 bridge on the Niangua arm the water was chocolate soup and lots of debris. Water at the Grand Glaize bridge was close to normal looking.
Wont boat till sunday but will go on the Tropic fireworks cruise tonight.
Water has dropped to below 660 as of noon on the 4th.
