New Cover!

Just got the boat back from the upholstery shop. New custom cover.

The old one was an Ebay special generic type that the wind would blow off without seventy thousand tie downs and lasted less than 2 years before it self destructed.

New one is 5 year warranty Sunbrella and the shop gives 5 years on the snaps and seams, and will inspect it and fix any flaws annually.

If anyone in the Havasu area needs a cover call Michelle at Custom Canvas 928-505-1001.

Is it going to be only used for traveling or will it be used as a mooring/storage cover?

If it is going to be used as a mooring/storage cover, I wonder how much pooling you are going to get on it when it rains.

Pooling won't be a problem. There are 3 adjustable poles in the interior. They're just not extended all the way up.

Nice horsepower decal-I did a double take. Back when I was a kid I always wanted to put a 115 hp decal on a 300hp outboard and surprise people.

Hey Alan what price range is that cover in, the sun down in Earp is really screwing over my cover.

Really nice cover. I love how it goes all the way down to the rub rail in the stern. Our current cover just comes across the back rails on the playpen so the carpet in the very back gets moss growing when we kept it stored on the trailer under a tree. Now that we keep it on the lift at the dock, the carpet is getting faded from the Western sun.

$1,500. Took them the boat on Thursday, picked it up on Tuesday.

Sounds expensive, but I checked 4 different shops in Havasu and the price was pretty much the same at all. Custom Canvas came highly recommended, so I went with them, and they could get to it right away.

The other really good shop in town is The Main Stitch. I would have gone with them but Becca said she couldn't get to it until sometime in August.

I was quoted $1500 for mine too in Los Angeles. That is why I made my own.

Looks great I had one almost identical made for my toon here in Orange county. I also had front and rear bimini made. Found my person on craigslist. I paid $1300 for everything.

BoatCop, that is a beautiful cover. That 5 year workmanship warranty with annual inspection and repairs is excellent!
