Pontoon Boat & Deck Boat Forum

Hello I just bought a Odyssey 300 pontoon boat 2005 model and the vinyl seats are browning and very sticky to the touch. We have tried to clean them with several products but they still are very sticky, but nothing comes off on your hand or towel. No rips or tears just sun fading. What can I do to save them, new vinyl would be too expensive and I use towels now but its no fun.

Have you tried Krud Kutter?

magic erasers or la awesome cleaner from the dollar store... both work awesome. Then use 303 cleaner and protectant to help save them.

Try a mixture of water and bleach. I have always had good luck. with it. Then use with 303 cleaner and then use 303 protector on them. I don't like using a magic eraser cause it. Sometimes will remove some of he topcoat of the vinyl. Just my 2 cents
