According to their catalog, the built-in fuel system on their Sport Fisher 21-2s is an "option" at the tune of $513.
Something about EPA standards?! I've never heard of a boat with portable tanks in this day and age - plus sticking a person $513 for a built-in tank (31gal). Anyone help me understand this? Thanks in advance.

Not bad IMO, new 30 gallon tanks run 300-350$ then you have to add on all the hoses and stuff. Quite a few manufactures still sell BASIC/Value level boats with external tanks.

Yup, sounds right... Look at it like this... Built in 31 gallon tank, or filling 5 6 gallon tanks and lugging them all over the place, then switching them on the go. I'ld go with the built in, any day. Then again, $513 would buy like 40 18 packs of PBR... hmm, that is a tough one... Crap!
