Put a down payment on New Crest 230 SLE last night. Trading in the old Four Winns Runabout. What does everyone think of these boats. What do I need to know now that I'm joining the pontoon club? Thanks.

Congrats to come over to the dark side!
My suggestion is to keep the cooler stacked because girls dig pontoons, you will have lots of visitors

Those lights on the front are used for DOCKING and not cruising. Sorry, I couldn't resist as this is a pet peeve of mine.
Back on topic....Congrats and post pics ASAP!

You can only use them if you have the added blue & red LED string lights all over your toon.

They're very nice boats. Hope you spent all your money on the largest engine the hull's rated for.

Crest has been making pontoons since 1957 which I believe is the longest in the industry. Competitors have said that Crests are overbuilt and I can believe it. I compared the construction of the deck, stringers and supports of several leading brands at a boat show and none seemed to be as heavily and solidly constructed as the Crest. I assume that also makes the Crest heavier than the competition. The Crest Continental has been named the top luxury pontoon for the last 4-5 years.
You made a good choice. It should give you many enjoyable years on the water. We love our Crest!

He's talking about this. Now I can use the 1500 watt landing lights on the right and left side of the pontoon. LMBO.

Thanks for all the replies. I only went with the 115 horse. It was already over my budget, but I really wanted the triton. Do you think it will be underpowered? All I am wanting it for is crusing and pulling the kids on tubes. All my buddies still have wakeboard boats, so I will be doing my skiing and boarding with them. My boat will be more of the central hub boat.

Welcome! Aboard!
Tubing you should be able to do around 30 mph, and even at 20 mph kids of all ages will have fun. Whenever I do over 21 mph the Admiral tell me to slow down anyway.
Let see some Pics!
