So yesterday we FINALLY got to take her out for the first time, albeit it was only for a couple of hours and it was a very late start. It was FUN! The kids had a blast and that was the main thing for me. We scoped out a couple of islands that we could lug our camping gear, and spend a weekend on the island without the crowds that we can see on the shoreline of the park. We did a very basic and quick clean, so we will be bringing her back to the house to do a more detailed cleaning. And I decided to not stress over shiny toons. They look much better than before even with the minor scratches. Learning lots from this site!

Ahhh, the maiden voyage! Always interesting, and hopefully fun! Glad you and the kids are having a good time.
