Towing Set up???

Hi all- Weather is breaking here and the itch is on!!!! Ready to get on the water!!!
For those of you who do skiing and tubing... what kind of set up do you have for tow rope. Right now, I just have mine attached to a D ring off to one side of the rear platform. I would like to get something more centered up, and possibly up in the air a bit... Rope drags in the water real bad now. I have seen some things on line, but they are $500.00
May have to dish out the money, but was hoping some of you had engineered some more economical solutions!!!
Thanks-
Jason

Mine was already on THE FLOATER when we got it. a local weld shop should take care of you cheaper.

Walmart has the same harness for less than $20. I had it shipped to store and got it in 3 days.
Hope that helps.

Rolled my own from alum handrail fitting and pipe all found in the
http://www.mcmaster.com catalog delivered to the house and built with common hand tools; no welding... It is tested and it is strong.... Used 6" x 6" x 1/4" alum plates under the decking at the bolt down points to spread out the load... Investment was at best 250.00

Thanks to everyone for all of the input...
I am looking for ore of what curtiscapk. and teecro have. Mine is set up more like "The FLoater" With the enclosure over the engine. So room is tight.... teecro, I would have never guessed that was not "store bought"- that looks awesome!!!!
Definitely gives me good ideas on how to get er done!!! - I will post some pic's of the results!
Thanks again!!!

Here is the one I made. I made a mock up of it with wood first to get all the angles figured out. Then I welded it up.
