Have you checked the condition of the fuel filter(s)?

Get yourself a small aux plastic fuel tank and hook it straight up to the motor. Using fresh fuel, see if she starts up. you know the problem isn't your motor if she starts with the problem being in your fuel system (i.e. Tank, lines, filters and such. If your motor still doesn't start then you know to start looking at engine systems (fuel pump, engine filters, spark plugs and such. Good luck.

Check the vent on the fuel tank and make sure it is open.

2 strokes have fuel pumps that include rubber diaphragms. There's a hole on the back side of the pump that goes into the engine crankcase. As the crankshaft turns, it puts out "wind" that pulsates thru the hole and vibrates the fuel pump. The rubber diaphragm pulsating is what pumps the fuel.

The big problem is that 90/10 gasoline is corrosive on anything rubber. And get a hole in the diaphragm and it won't pump right.

The good news is that replacing a rubber diaphragm is easy to do and it's a cheap part. If changing the fuel filter(s) doesn't solve your problem, change the diaphragm and see if it helps. New spark plugs in 2 strokes also does wonders to solve rough running.

I got some info, the 115 merc 2005 4 stroke, has 2 fuel pumps, 1st one is a lift pump with low pressure that's mounted to valve cover and works off the camshaft,it supplies fuel to the elec pump,my elec pump appears to be not working or is gummed up at the screen, ,heading back to marina tomorrow to rip it out ,very hard to find any info on the internet,
