I'm looking to buy a SUP for the wife and kid to use while anchored at the weekend party spot. Looking for inexpensive ideas to mount the SUP to the pontoon while underway. I've seen pontoon SUP holders on-line that go for a few hundred dollars. Since the mount on the outside of the fence, it just looks like they will get in the way when docking.
I have a ski tow bar on the back of boat that is well built...two parallel tubes make up the frame and are about 1 foot a part on top. Can be as simple as just placing the SUP on the top of the ski tow bar and securing with bungee cords?
