Hello all.

I seem to sit pretty low in the stern. Yeah I know I have 30gal fuel a pair of batteries and a 800+lb motor, but at rest there is a noticeable difference between bow and stern.

Will post pics if anyone wants them.

Does your aft sag much??

Some boats with the express center toons will sit a little low in the rear.

But when you put big weight on the rear end, boats will sit lower in the water. And that big Zuki is one heavy motor.

I don't think I've seen a toon that doesn't squat in the back sitting still unless it was a little 20' with a 9.9 on the back. Just think of it as a giant teeter-totter, Motor + gas + batteries = 1000# of weight on one end with nothing on the other to off set it. Back when mine had only 2 small tubes I only had ~3" of tube sticking out of the water at rest with a heavy Johnson 70 4 stroke on the back and the nose was almost on top of the water. Installing 2 batteries up front for a trolling motor really help to "level" the toon. I'm just finishing up installing 3 25" tubes under toon and I'm curious how it will sit now Vs. the old 19" tubes.

Its pretty much normal with todays bigger motors, fuel cells and multiple batteries. You can check for water in the pontoons, but that's about the only way your pontoons will sink into the water over time.
