Hi all
We have been in the market for a pontoon boat to use and make memories on. Can anyone tell me if this is a fair price?
Selling an immaculate 2007 Crest III XRS pontoon. 90hp Yamaha outboard has only 239 hrs and always maintained at same Marina. Boat features upgrades like Stainless Steel bimini, 4x 2 drink movable cupholders, 2 bow high-back/tilt/swivel captain chairs. Hummingbird color GPS/fish finder, blue LED courtesy lights, Clarion (bluetooth, USB, XM/Sirius ready) and more. Stainless Steel ski bar, changing room and sun deck aft. New custom cover made 2015. $19,900 or Best Offer
We were thinking of offering 17.5k
Thanks!

Not familiar with the price or the boat, but I would suggest before making any offers to ask the seller to take you out for a trial test so you can get a feel for the boat before deciding on purchasing a used boat. You don't want to inherit someone else's problems.

Thanks for the tip. We did take it for a ride and all seemed well, the problem is we don't really know anything about boats. The seller has it at the marina now as it is getting the trim motor fixed-he's paying for that.
So Crest Pontoons are not that popular?

I have had a Crest III since 2003 and it has held up really well. I think your offer is fair, have motor checked out and good luck.

If it's in great condition, that sounds like a reasonable price. Crest is one of, if not the, oldest and best built pontoon brands. They are extremely well constructed. I've heard that some competitors say that Crests are overbuilt, but I like that. It may be a little heavier than some brands due to the heavier components which may also slow it down a bit. We love ours and get lots of compliments about it around the marina. I would buy another Crest in a heartbeat.

According to NADA with what info you posted, $17,620 is a average price to pay for the boat and engine. Assuming no trailer.
This copy and paste didn't format, but you can see what it shows....
Hope this helps.....
