The instructions are pretty straight forward. I did my install by myself ( wife was unable to help and no one else around ) Do not do this by yourself ( hell on wheels ) Get a friend, enemy or neighbor to help. A two person job if there ever was one.
That said, I really enjoy being able to push a button or switch to raise and lower the top. Wish I could say I found a magical trick to the install but...... With two people it will be a very easy job. Enjoy.

Did mine alone and had no problems. Just took a little longer. It is really nice to just push a button and up it goes.

Thanks for your input! Ordered it this morning and it's already shipped. Hope it doesn't arrive to earlier as I'm in the process of rigging a new waverunner to fish off of. I would like to finish before it gets here.
Have the instruction improved as far as the wiring goes. I read somewhere that the wiring diagram was not the best?

Remember, if you are going to install a navigation light on the top, you need to fish the wire up through the frame when you install the top.

I can offer one "gotcha" that I experienced after installing the power top on my boat. It was my of own doing and not a fault of the the top.
Mine kept popping the auto-reset breaker when being lowered. After removing the remote box and just wiring to the switch direct with the same results, tying to a dedicated wire from the battery, I finally removed the canvas and the cross tube of the powered bows and ran them independently. They both ran fine.
As it turns out when installing the cross tube in the powered bows, I was over zealous on making sure the powered bow tubes came down completely square on the second bow. The result of this was the powered bows were being pushed out to the point of putting the bows into a bind in the drive head pivot channels. I then put the cross tube in place and ran the assembeled bow with no screws in it and let it find it's own spread throughout the cycle. I then just put 1 screw back into the cross tube and am letting the other end "float" as needed. Haven't had a problem since. Works like a dream...love it!

Sorry I did not get back sooner. You most likely have your top by now, It's been a while but I don't remember having any problem with any of the instructions including the wiring.
I noticed one poster had no problems doing the install by himself. I'm afraid my age is showing here, at 70 I don't move as good as I used to .

check out my review in the manufacturers reviews
I have listed some tips and photos of my install
I have installed one and helped a friend on his also
I would not own a boat without one
the hardest part is running the wiring neatly
take your time and do it right
good luck
Mike

Thanks to everyone who provided input!
I haven't attempted an install yet, been having to much fun on my Waverunner. Most likely won't get to it until the end of July. I'll be sure to post my results.
