I bought a Princecraft Sportfisher 21-2s last fall. I really like it. However, I get a wet spot right next to the drivers chair when going slow. The spot is about 18" across and in the middle of the floor. I assume the water gets splashed UP and that is what causes the wet spot - in time, the wood will rot! I called the company and they said take pictures and send them to the dealer we bought it from, and they can work together to find a solution. I wonder if this is a design problem - the rep didn't admit it, anyway. Thinking of buy a sheet of aluminum and screwing it to the braces under the floor, thus preventing the splash. I'll also silicone the heck out of any joints under the deck. Any comments, suggestions, etc.?

We have a 2007 Princecraft Vantage that used to get a specific wet spot by the rear table mount... It also was not a "smooth" ride... See where I am going with this?... The answer to my issues was to underskin the boat!! It is the single most impressive "fix" I have done to our boat yet! Here is a link... By the way, I followed others here. Silicone caulk any plywood seams at the crossmembers and where the seat pedestal bolts go through the floor.

Good idea and I might add that I would let it dry out real good first.
