Verado 150 cooling issue

I splashed the Harris this morning only to hear my 150's overheating alarm after I cranked her up.
The engine was peeing. However, water was also spraying from the hose flushing port. After starting the engine, you could hear the air hiss out of the line before water sprayed out.
The female end that accepts a water hose has a male black cap that screws in to cap the hose off. Never closely inspected the cap, but found it to be vented. Thus the blow-back through the cap.
My dealer serviced the engine maybe 15 hours ago. New impeller, so we're guessing something is stopped up somewhere.
When I tied up at our Florida dock a few weeks ago, boats were backed up at the marina ramp, so I relied on the Florida marina dockhands to load, wash down the boat, and flush the engine, before storing in the barn until I could come get it. This is a normal service provided under my storage contract.
Anyhow, messed up my day. Guess we'll see what my Georgia marina mechanic finds.
Just damn.
