Just how does a scissor trailer work? Does anyone have pictures they can share?

I dont have any pictures but its a pretty simple concept. The wheels on the trailer are on the inside of the pontoons instead of under or outboard of the toons. The trailer , thru a system of cables and pulleys lifts the boat via the crossmembers instead of bunks used to carry the toons themselves. The trailer supports the boat thru its entire length this way. Some say it is the invention of the devil himself to taunt mankind....others swear by them and use them with great success. They are great for moving toons arount the yard and setting them on blocks if need be. I have also seen them used long distance with no problems. Also work real well if you have a shallow boat ramp as the toons are closer to the water when putting in. But, just as with UFO's there are people who have witnessed toons flying off into the tulips when a corner had been rounded too quickly.Usually the topic of great debate.

papafransisco, i had one of these years ago and it worked well. here is the link. it lowers the boat for shallow water launching and also i think i was able to lower it to the ground as well
