Stiiff throttle forward and reverse

Hello
I own a 1993 Sweetwater pontoon C150 . I bought it last fall and only used it for a couple laps around the lake before winter storage. The throttle is somewhat stiff to push in forward and reverse , but it does operate and the stiffness is not extreme, and is consistent throughout the entire range . I would like to lubricate the cables and have seen the plastic bag ,and compressor / plastic tubing methods on you tube .On this site , I have seen discussion of a tension adjuster .I am wondering if this boat has one? I do not have access to the boat because it is not stored at my house. If anyone has any knowledge of this adjuster ,I would be interested in knowing where it is? I have no literature for the boat.I would really like to see if anyone has used a motorcycle cable luber, but cant find any info for using it on boat controls. This devise works great on motorcycle cables and I don't know why it would not work on boat cables except for maybe a cable diameter size issue .Other people here have asked about cable lubrication , but I have not seen any answers that offer a definitive answer, and don't get off track of the subject.Any response would be appreciated
Thanks

The tension adjustment is a knob that is usually located on the bottom or side of your throttle.
Can't help with the cable lube question.
Good luck.
