Another prop question

Got my new Southbay yesterday it is a 220 2.75 with an Evinrude Etec 90 HO on it. It was over revving with 5 on board and full gas. Speed was 28 gps. Current prop is 13.75x13. Going to a 15 pitch. Sound correct to you all ? I will normally have 5 to 10 on board

What's your RPMs wide open?
28 MPH is really good for your setup.

Wide open my RPMs were 6300. I’m putting a 15 p own it tomorrow. I have to say I am impressed with the Evinrude 90HO so far. I agree, I was surprised at the speed as well

It’s a 90 HO so it really is 100 at full throttle

Unless that 15 includes a bunch of kids, I'm almost certain you're going to be way overloaded!

With 15 pitch it only hit 5500. Going to try a 14 this week. Hit 31mph gps with 4 adults but need the revs to be a little higher.
