Looks like BRP, their parent company is getting out of the outboard motor business.

Though my 90 ETec runs great and cheap to run I wouldn't buy another or recommend one. They are (at least mine) miserable to service. I always changed my impeller but not now they are bitch to reassemble and you have to index the spark plugs so if one don't index you are stuck with a $14.00 plug.

I heard it was due to engineering problems. Just couldn't get the bugs worked out. They should bring back the old Johnson and Evinrude design. They were work horses that never died.
