Here's my 2020 damage totals for the year of boating.
1. Early spring walkaround the trailer revealed a completely toasted bearing and spindle damage. New spindle, new hub and brake rotor, new bearings (2 sets).
2. Lost a tire off the rim completely on the way to the river. New rim and tire, roadside assistance fee.
3. Hit a log on the ohio late summer. Broke a big chunk from the cav plate. Insurance paid 1200 for repair, and I added 600 to that payment and sold my old lower unit to the marine repair shop and this got me a new factory lower unit. No pics of the lower unit damage. I had disappearing deductibles from Progressive, so I was only out the 600 on a 2200 lower unit price.
