Hmmm.... More than interesting. You know that crate engine is only about six grand retail so complete with jet drive and controls it CAN'T be any more than a 150 outboard. Of course once you put "marine" on it that doubles the cost. Plus non-standard mounting set-up. Will definitely like to see where this goes.

Any newer info about this?

I found it more than a bit “interesting” that they chose a site (Rainbow River) that has some fairly severe local restrictions; idle speed only for the entire length of the spring run (the Rainbow) until it goes into the Withlacoochee River at Dunellon, Fla. plus a few more.
So; no chance to see how it actually performs. Also; I have no trouble making my tri-toon with a 225 HP outboard turn within it’s own length. I’m sure that any of the experienced boaters on the forum could do the same. So, no eureka moment there, though they did make a big deal of it; twice.

First public debut is at the Miami International Boat Show 02/16/22. Been wrapped up tight other than that.
