Upgrading to a Berkshire Pontoon

#1 Post by SpeedBoater99 » Tue Oct 18, 2022 10:37 am

I'm thinking of upgrading pontoons from a Starcraft SLS3 to a Berkshire. Any reviews on STS series? I've found a flip seat version at the local dealer. Overall I've found the Starcraft to be a good boat but lacking a bit in quality. Dealer said they can do a Yamaha on ordered boat but I've been happy with Mercury as well.

This is the boat I'm looking at. Most of the other high end pontoons don't have dealers less than an hour away. Service wise these guys have the best rep in the local area.

I can't speak specifically about Berkshire, but there's a few at my marina and they seem pretty decent. And if the dealer has a good reputation, that's the most important thing in my opinion. Like I always say "pick your dealer, then pick your boat"!!

^^^^This!!!

PS....I am encouraged by the link you posted. Looks like price levels may start getting back to a "semi-normal" state and stock levels are improving.
