Should I get a bigger motor?

#1 Post by mikerin0 » Thu Oct 20, 2022 7:21 am

Hi I have a Qwest 16 foot pontoon with a 25hp merc. Top speed with just me is about 8mph. Max motor I can put on is a 40. Any idea what that would do to my top speed? I really like the small platform but need a little more power.
