Anyone have a dock like this & can tell me what's the trick to hooking them together? The plastic decking is flush to the front of the frame & the gap is too tight for the hook to angle in.

Do you have to roll one part in first, then when it's kinda flat roll the other part in so the bar drops under the C?

I had to resort to paying the guy who's been installing & removing this dock in recent years.
He made it look easy--but he did remove the bolts holding the end of the decking down so the hook would fall over the metal frame without being blocked by the plastic.

I'll probably handle this in the future.

I also find I don't need 80 feet of dock for my pontoon. Maybe a deep-V would but I'm just fine tying off to the 60 foot section.Image
