Pontoon Boat & Deck Boat Forum

I have a 2001 Suntracker PartyBarge Regency 25 IO. I love the boat, but the 3.0L engine is a dog. I would like to replace it with a 4.3L MPI. I was told by my service shop that it would not be possible because the motor mounts are different, but of course, he would be happy to sell me a new boat. Any comments on whether this is possible would be appreciated.

I sure it would be cheaper to fine one than convert it , but anything can be done if you throw enough money at it
