I am a new pontoon owner - 2002 Playbuoy 24'. All of the lights went out
the other night. I do not have a manuel, does anyone know where I can get a
manuel for this boat. I do not even know where the fuse box is located. I recently
had it serviced, but I had hoped to figure this problem out without calling the service guy.
Yes, I'm a lady and very green at boating..............appreciate any help.
thanks

Welcome Glad to have a Lady with us, you fuse box should be in the helm, bigger thing is you need to replace the fuse and see if it happens again.
If so you have a short , or a bare wire to ground some where to find so it doesn't do it again and leave you in the dark.
Oh we love pictures, and it helps if you but you pontoon data in your signature so we know what engine you have and where your using it to help us help you, some answers change depending to where your at and where you using your toon

Deb, unlike a car, there is no real boat manual. When you buy new, you get a collection of manuals for stuff like the gauges, engine and engine controls, radio, etc.

Welcome Deb, yes the fuse panel is in the console. Common causes of the navigation light fuse blowing is short to ground in the stern light (pole). It's usually a black (-) and grey(+) wire. If the pole light is mounted on a bimini top, there's lots of points where it can short to ground, like the pivot where it's mounted, etc. I've seen shorts inside the pole themselves as well.
Replace the fuse and give those areas a good shake to see if the fuse blows again.
