Re: boating insurance?
Well finally signed my coverage, effective today, to take her out today for the weekend, first time this year.
came out to $185 for the angler coverage, since we will be doing a lot of fishing and that stuff is expensive. Just the fishfinder is almost $2k

Re: boating insurance?
I'm another cheerleader for BoatUS. They just seem to have a more robust, boat-focused insurance package. If you're ex military, USAA came in a very close second.

Re: boating insurance?
A friend of mine tried to go through USAA and they told him that they sub-contract their boat coverage through Progressive. He has a 24' deckboat with a 454 I/O and Progressive flat-out refused to insure it.DonCabo wrote:I'm another cheerleader for BoatUS. All my insurance is through Allstate - homeowners, cars, OHVs, boat, everything. I haven't had to file a claim yet so I can't speak to that end of things, but we have a good agent and they offer reasonable rates.
