Finally...I'm new to the forum, but haven't made the commitment to a boat yet.
We have always had speed boats. The choice is this: Sun
Chaser, 22', tri toon, set up for fishing. It looks like it might be a very early 2012 that was taken to the shows for display. I have a choice of a 150 Yam 4 or a 200 Yam 4. We live on the bay. The water is rough at times. We like speed but would like to be a bit conservative with fuel as well. the 150 is quiet and I love it but I want Wes to be happy. So.....the different in speed verses fuel consumption verses reliability...what say ye?
Also, if there is a better place to post all this, please direct.
And Hello...
Pam

Welcome Pam
Is it a new boat? If the toon is rated for it go the 4stk 200.

Welcome our newest MOD, Redneck_Randy, we needed someone to help out, as we left Lake on his own, when BMR and I were both out of town early in July

Welcome Pammy. Go for the 4stroke 200. We have not seen anyone in this forum that wished they had a smaller motor. As long as you do not go wide open throttle, the difference in fuel consumption between the two is not very significant.

Hello all. New to the forum but been tooning for about 25 years with the family. We float on a small private lake here in Northern New Jersey. Just purchased a new Bentley 220 Cruise SE about a month ago and I'm loving it. I am still waiting for my trailer to come in so I can venture out to other lakes. I love all the info on here and it seems like everyone here is on the same boat "pun intended". We float on a small private lake here in Northern New Jersey.

We are new to tooning but have been boating since forever. I have enjoyed lurking here while doing some research for the new toon.
I have a question concerning my registration. I tried several times and it would not accept my personal e-mail address(hotmail.com). I had to use my business address but I do not want anything going there. Please advise.

I'm guessing AOL accounts are blocked too, for the same reason? I tried to join with my AOL account, then my work email account, and it appeared like nothing happened. Apparently, I'm in on one of those accounts, but don't want anything going to my work addy (everything is archived 'forever'). Anyways, glad I made it in. Thanks.

Welcome, we have to approve some e-mails, didn't think AOL was one as you have to pay for AOL, but what do I know.
But you here and that's the main thing
