Seems to be s hort in the speaker wires up front. Looking underneath the helm it appears to go down into the aluminum deck (thru carpet) and looks like it crosses underneath. I just got this thing (sans trailer) and haven't had it out of the water yet until I rig my lift for toons, so I'm guessing that's the case without getting in the water with a snorkel just yet. Do in fact the speaker wires and bow light wiring run underneath the deck exposed, or do they feed thru some sort of PVC tubing? I'm thinking whichever way, the wiring protective coating has been compromised and exposure to water has rusted both forward sets in two. Or...have been pinched or crimped by something. The bow lights are working fine so far.
With that said, has anyone re-routed them above deck maybe underneath the carpet? Is the carpet glued on the aluminum deck? Anyplace to find some wiring diagrams?
Thanks ahead for any info.

I ran all the wiring in my boat in conduit. Salt water hasn't bothered it a bit in 22 years.

Re: 1999 Sun Tracker 21ft wire routing...underneath?
I got in the water today with my snorkel gear and went underneath to take a look as well as to scrape off some gunk from the toons. The wires in fact are running free with some straps here and there. But they both (only two speakers for now) looked in good shape. So after completing my spec ops in the water and drying off, I went inside and got underneath the helm to re-check the wiring and remove the carpeted board against the starboard side hiding where the wires and steering cable etc went down thru the deck. Low and behold two inches above the foamed hole both speaker wire sets were burnt in two. Luckily I think ther'es enough exposed wire from the deck to strip and splice back with the excess wires from the radio which BTW is a brand new set. It got dark on me, so I'll have to attempt it tomorrow (Sat) where I can be patient because i don;t have much to make a mistake with without having to replace the whole strand. I'll let ya know how it runs out.
