Finally got a little water time. DAH said jack it up some, so while installing BayStar, I put on an old manual plate I took
off our other boat, 5" setback, up 2" over original installed height. Now with 700lb of 4 adults, maybe another 100lb
coolers and tackle boxes, she ran 28mph@6100. Looking up. Can't wait to run by myself.
Only draw back, it now is back to slight blowout on hard turn at optimal trim full throttle. Trait original wheel had.
It is better, but best setup would have been 13P with the full amount of cup he originally put in.
With this much in this prop, I'm probably stuck, but if I can get 32 with me and wife, I guess I'll settle.

Jim.

I found the Enertia is the best prop for mine, so far. Drop your plate an inch and try it again. You want the cavitation plate on the lower unit to just be skimming the waters surface. Good luck with it!

Cycleman, 150, :(

Oh also, ran boat solo, 31@5950. Exactly what the stock cheapy aluminum 3 blade ran, but 150 less rpm.
Not exactly what I expected for $600 worth of prop. :x
