Shrink wrapped and ready for winter
Bought the shrink wrap from Dr Shrink http://dr-shrink.com/
I bought a roll 20' x 100'
It should be good for 3 years, I could have bought 18 foot wide and it would have been sufficient.
I built a frame out of 1.5" PVC and wooden firing strips. I also bought a zipper door for the cover, they are on closeout for $8. I want to work on the boat this winter.
I used a propane heat gun. I know it is not perfect, but it should work well.
I am selling the other pontoon boat, if anyone is interested, let me know.

Good Job!
I just hate that you guys up there have to do this-
I guess that's the trade off for not having many 100 degree plus days-

Nice job, Capt. Jim. I was going to do another trip or two out on the Bohemia, but Cheryl's thinks it's too cold, lol. Putting mine away this weekend. I do wanna take the boat out in the first snow to take some pics though.

Re: Shrink wrapped and ready for winter
looks good, our toon was put away a month ago although the weather ended up being so nice until the last couple days that we should have left it out. But finally yesterday we got some good cold. Day time high of 17 and a few inches of snow. time to go skiing!

you may want to add a couple of those vents for shrink wrap, or a tub or two of Damp Rid.
A guy at our marina opened his boat last spring and it looked like a science experiment in there, friggin mold. He left some wet items under a seat when he closed it up.

I have ordered 2 vents, I will stick them on when they arrive. I don't need anything like that happening!cleatus wrote:you may want to add a couple of those vents for shrink wrap, or a tub or two of Damp Rid.
