I am only turning 5100 with the 15p, I am heavier and longer than you. Same basic motor. Probably would work better for you. I dropped to a 14 pitch

I would probably leave the height as it is and look at the prop
going down 1 " pitch may not be enough RPMs
I would look at a 15 pitch
call Ken at Prop Gods They are located in Sarasota FL
he knows props, call him and get his advice. I think that he will allow you to
try props and exchange them for a small fee.
Keep at it, there is more speed there

Update:
So after I had the motor raised along with the mediocre results, XSCASH offered to sell me an Enertia 15x15P prop, current prop is 15x17P.

Initially I was leery as I'm sure he was. I made contact with him and he offered to send the prop for the initial shipping cost and send the remainder when I received it. It was shipped out on Friday and I received it yesterday as described.

I will be installing it today and testing it on Thursday.

Transaction went smooth and I wanted to publicly give a SHOUT OUT to XSCASH, AKA Rick. Thanks Bro!!

Yep! I would never do some of the things I have done, business wise, with non boaters! Like I always say, "In boaters, I trust!"
I hope that prop works for you, Mike!
I have several props I'll be selling, but they are all LH rotation, new Manitou's Yammie is RH. Last count I had was 7... :biggrin2 I need to liquidate on Bass Boat Central...

Your welcome pal, I hope you get what you need from it!
Post up the results when you test it out.

Update:
Took the pontoon to the lake today and tested the enertia 15x15 prop. There was good news and bad news.

The mercury spun the prop at 6000 rpms, that's the good news. The bad news is I lost 5 MPH, max speed at WOT was 25mph. I went back to the dock and reinstalled the OEM Prop (15x17P) and she hit 30 at 5400 rpms. Came out of the hole a lot better then the enertia and overall a better performance.

Went from 19% slip, OEM to 30%, Enertia.

I'm at a loss and quite frankly I'm ready to just accept the 5400 rpms, cut my losses and be done with chasing performance.

I'll guess with you :donno

Only tidit I'll throw in the tank is my 75 made better speed with a 3B-14x12P than it did with either the 3B-14x13P or the 3B-14x11P as well as the 4B-13.8x11P or 4B-13.8x13P props I tried... That turns out to be the same pitch another owner with the same rig and HP found, only diff at this point is he has extra cupping and he said he was doing 28 and I'm knocking on 28 by .2 MPH....

So your sweet-spot prop might be a 16" Pitch perhaps with extra cupping (?) ...

Your probably right but like I said early, I'm done chasing performance on a barge. I'll leave it alone and spend $$ on other things.

I am hitting 5400 rpms at 3/4 throttle and the same at WOT (on the OEM prop), guess I just won't go full throttle......

Well while it was not free you have gained about 4 MPH since being Simonized right? :nana

WOW, I'm sorry pal. I would have expected a much better result from that prop.
