What your seeing is not water pumped from the lake, but do have that ability, it the water from the septic tank. Here we can't have a normal septic tank. This one has two chambers. The first is sewer water from the tank. It has an air pump that runs 24/7 and keeps the bacteria alive and working. It then runs over and when it reaches the float valve it sprays it through 4 heads out on the lawn. They say you can drink it though I don't want to try that. I have replaced 3 of the sprinklers to accept a hose and regular sprinkler so I can move it around the yard to water so it is not in the same spot all the time. I only had two on in the picture. Some of the people on the lake have regular septic and some of them dump right into the lake. The state is checking them now and making them change systems to the type we have. Sounds gross but it works well with the exception of replacing the pumps every 3 or 4 years.
